Dr. Jay Prakash Verma has more than 10 years of rich experience with Industry and Academia. Prior to come in Academics, Dr. Verma was working with the UB Group as an Institutional Sales Head for the Western U.P. region. Sir has been awarded the Ph.D. degree in the year 2011. He did PGDM from the Institute of Productivity and Management Meerut, M.Com from Mahatma Gandhi University and B.Com (H) from Ranchi University, Ranchi. He has a very impressive academic record as he was All India Topper in CBSE and topper in B.Com and PGDM. He has qualified UGC-NET Exam in December 2013 conducted by the University Grant Commission. Dr. Verma has done some extensive research in the field of Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Management. His area of Interest includes Sales and Distribution Management, Retail Management, Service Marketing, Brand Management, Rural Marketing, etc. Sir, has recently authored a book on Service Marketing which is published by Himalaya Publishing House, Mumbai and is getting encouraging response from across India. Dr. Verma has also published several Articles with journals of International and National repute. He has been associated with some of the premier Institution of Eastern India including Central University of Jharkhand, NIT-Rourkela, Ranchi University, KIMDS, etc. where he benefitted the students and researchers with his rich deliberations. Dr. JP Verma is associated with XISS since last 6 years and has actively contributed in the development of Students. Dr. Verma also command interest in capacity building and is a trainer with some of the well-known Institutions, including Indian Institute of Coal Management, Jharkhand State Co-operative Bank, Indian Railways, Family Planning Association of India, etc. He has conducted successful workshops in Leadership and Management, Time Management, Counselling skills, Communication Dynamics, Team Building, Excellence in Sales, etc. He will be teaching the Papers related to Marketing and Sales in the Deptt. of Finance.
