Talk on the Future of Healthcare Management in India held at XISS

The Rural Management (RM) Programme of Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi along with the Rotaract Club of Social Revolution (RCSR) organized a talk on 16 February 2023, on the topic “Future of Healthcare Management in India.” 

The keynote speaker of the session was Dr Anant Sinha, CEO, Devkamal Hospital. The event took place at Fr Michael Van den Bogart Auditorium, XISS Ranchi, in the presence of Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, Director XISS, Dr Anant Kumar, Head of Programme, Rural Management, other faculty members of the programme and students from both first and second year. 

During the session, Dr Sinha discussed the surgeries like Cleft, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), Burn, Acid Attack, and many more which are specifically helping the marginalized community people. He also shared his views regarding the future of health management, which is Telemedicine, and talked about the three modes of healthcare, namely, Ayushman Bharat, CHGS, and ESIC. During his talk, he also emphasised the importance and relevancy of Rural Managers in the field of healthcare. He concluded his talk by answering several questions raised by the students of the Rural Management Programme.
