Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi organized FINFEST- an Inter College Competition organized by the Financial Management Programme and Finaxiss, The Financial Management Club of XISS, Ranchi in the campus.

Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, Director, XISS and other dignitaries inaugurated the event by releasing balloons in the air. Dr Kujur expressed his happiness over the event and said that success is all about overcoming the problems and failure. He highlighted that XISS pay’s attention to all aspects of education in the Institute, whilst the academics is important, so are such exposures too, where students apply their classroom learning in live situations.

Assistant Director, Dr Pradeep Kerketta SJ, said that FINFEST is a best example which shows that we are making the Institute a place of learning with fun. Students from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, Birla Institute of Technology, Lalpur, Kejriwal Institute of Management and Development Studies, Amity University, Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Institute of Management Studies, Sarala Birla University, Marwari College, and XISS participated in huge numbers competing in several events.

The event was also attended by Dr Amar E Tigga, Dean Academics, Dr Bhaskar Bhowani, Head, Financial Management Programme, Heads of all Programmes at XISS, Faculty, Staff, and Students of XISS.
