XISS & Rotaract Club of Social Revolution host Blood Donation Camp

Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, along with the Rotaract Club of Social Revolution (RCSR), Rotary Club of Ranchi Midtown, and Sadar Hospital organized a Blood Donation Camp in the campus on Monday. As many as 15 units of blood were donated during this noble drive.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, XISS, Director along with Rtn. Rajesh Prashant, Vice President, Rotary Club, Rtn. Bhupendra Singh Jaggi, Secretary, Rotary Club, Dr Neelam Verma, Sadar Hospital, Rtr. Abhishek Tirkey, President, RCSR Club of XISS, Rtr. Harsh Manek, Rtr. Gauri Sharma, and Rtr. Nishant Prasad.

The camp began with the message of Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, Director, XISS where he urged everyone to join the noble cause of blood donation and that XISS is committed to work for the people and society at large.
Vice President of Rotary Club of Ranchi Midtown Rajesh Prashant in his message mentioned that one unit of blood donation can help in saving three lives and so more people should join this cause.

The students turned out in good numbers to donate blood, and after a thorough check up on their current health, 15 units of blood were donated. The camp concluded with a vote of thanks, recognizing the collective efforts that made the event a success. This initiative reflects XISS’s ongoing commitment to social service and community welfare.
